Veterans Day Returns to Monday at State Fair

There may be a hay shortage, but Nebraska State Fair has found a way to bring back the Hay Bale Contest for 2023. Since the State Fair has been in Grand Island, the hay bale contest had become almost a right of summer around central Nebraska. Hear Grand Island Partners with Nebraska State Fair

Fair Board names Parr new executive director
Jaime Parr is the new executive director of the Nebraska State Fair. The State Fair Board approved Parr’s appointment at its meeting on Friday after naming her interim executive director in October. Parr, who had been serving as deputy executive director, took over from former director Bill Ogg. “We are pleased and proud to have a native Nebraskan serving as executive director of the Nebraska State Fair,” board Chairman Bob Haag said. “Jaime’s longevity with
