Marketing & Sponsorship director

This full-time, year-round opportunity is best fit for an experienced Professional who has skills in Leadership, Planning and Implementation of Marketing Advertising, Fulfilling event and advertising commitments to Funding Partners, Assessing event numbers and forecasting public trends, Creating and Sticking to a defined annual Budget, Brainstorming new and interesting ideas and projects, and more.

The Marketing and Sponsorship Director will oversee a team of 2 full-time (year-round) employees and up to four (4) seasonal (July – September) interns. 

This position requires knowledge, experience, and strong skills in digital technology, media, design, copywriting, creative talents, a variety of computer software programs, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Entertainment & Events Intern

Reporting to the Events Manager and Entertainment & Events Director, the Entertainment and Events Intern will assist in Event planning and Event execution and will coordinate Nebraska based events for the 2024 Nebraska State Fair (event). A successful candidate will have a background in event planning and execution. Operations & Maintenance Worker

The Nebraska State Fair Operations Department is seeking an Operations & Maintenance worker focusing on Livestock & Equine areas. 2024 STATE FAIR AGRICULTURE INTERNSHIPS

The Nebraska State Fair Agriculture Department is seeking interns for the 2024 Nebraska State Fair. There are internship options for both livestock and equine. Apply for LIVESTOCK HERE and EQUINE HERE. Applications for both will close on February 1st.

Fair Time Stagehands/Labor

Superior Stage Services is seeking applicants to help with the behind the scenes work to put on the shows and live entertainment at the Nebraska State Fair. They handle all the stages at the fair and need help to load in, setup, run, and tear down the stages each day.  No experience required but would be helpful.  They typically have shifts in the morning and evening with some work in the afternoons. All Shifts run on a 4 hour minimum with the possibility of longer but each shift is guaranteed to have 4 hours. Starting Pay is $20 per hour. Heavy lifting is required.  Apply Here

MARKETING/SPONSORSHIP AND HOSPITALITY INTERNS

Looking for a summer job that really is UNIQUE!

Love social media, like taking pictures, enjoy helping people have fun, eating fair food, and getting paid.
Come to the Nebraska State Fair. We have two paid positions for this year’s fair in Marketing, Sponsorship, and Hospitality. For the next 90 days, you’ll have an experience like no other. You’ll be an important part of putting this year’s fair together. You could handle tickets, take video or photos, drive fair vehicles, ride on the fair floats, carefully pilot a golf cart and just be a big part of making Nebraska State Fair the biggest event in the state.
